Position Summary The Assistant Nursing Home Administrator will partner with the Executive Director to ensure regulatory compliance, smooth day-to-day operations, and strong HR and staffing practices. This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of long-term care experience who is eager to learn, highly independent, and passionate about leadership in the skilled nursing setting.
Key Responsibilities - Support the Executive Director in overseeing daily facility operations.
- Take the lead on Human Resources functions including staffing, employee relations, onboarding, and policy implementation.
- Assist with census development strategies and building community partnerships.
- Oversee the grievance process, ensuring timely investigations, proper documentation, and reporting of any state-reportable incidents.
- Support department heads in operational initiatives and regulatory preparedness.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including CMS guidelines.
- Serve as Administrator on Duty as needed.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or a related field.
- Active or eligible Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
- Strong understanding of CMS regulations and operational procedures.
- HR experience or interest in leading HR-related responsibilities.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
