The Assistant Property Manager will support the daily operations of residential and/or commercial properties under management. This role ensures smooth coordination between tenants, vendors, and the property management team while helping to maintain the overall financial and operational performance of assigned properties.
Assist the Property Manager in overseeing day-to-day property operations.
Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, maintenance requests, and concerns.
Help coordinate repairs, maintenance schedules, and vendor services.
Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Prepare lease documents, renewals, and move-in/move-out paperwork.
Support rent collection and enforce lease terms when necessary.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation within property management systems.
Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and expense tracking.
Help organize community events and maintain positive tenant relations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and fair housing laws.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
1–3 years of experience in property management, leasing, or real estate administration.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium, or similar).
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Customer service–oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
