An international manufacturer is seeking a n experienced Buyer to join their supply chain team. This role will provide comprehensive sourcing and procurement support while collaborating with global team members and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery , quality , and cost targets are achieved
Negotiate pricing, contracts , and support strategic sourcing initiatives
Handle import / export procurement and customs requirements
Support new product introductions and engineering change tracking
Set up and maintain item master data in SAP, create purchase orders , and align with Accounts Payable to ensure timely supplier payments
Identify and implement cost reduction projects to support supply chain and business goals
Collaborate with manufacturing , engineering , service , sales , and quality teams to ensure sourcing excellence
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent experience
5 years of experience in procurement (manufacturing background preferred)
International manufacturing experience in procurement and customs is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred )
Strong negotiation, research, and analytical skills
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
