Job Description

Class A CLASS A Truck Driver - Regional - No Touch Loads Job

Refrigerated trucking company looking for conscientious, loyal class A CDL drivers seeking long term employment.

Steady work and pay! Stable company.

• Regional haul in and out of Colorado, generally home weekends - out 4-5 nights per week. Primarily western states.
• Guaranteed Pay Plan

• No Touch Freight

Requirements and Skills:
• Valid Class A CDL Driver's License, minimum 1 year driving experience
• Clean driving record
• Proficient at driving, maneuvering, and parking tractors and trailers,
• Proficient with ELD logs, use of personal smart phone required
• Physically able to sit for long time periods, drive 10-11 hours per day, lift up to 50 lbs comfortably
• Proficient at routine truck inspections, fluid check and refill, and perform very basic maintenance
• Pleasant demeanor, courteous, reliable - respectful communication skills
• Good time-management and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English and be authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent certification; driving school certification is a plus
• Submit to and pass drug and alcohol testing and background test.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Practice safe, long-distance driving habits
• Maneuver truck and cargo into a variety of parking spaces and loading dock
• Follow all state and national safety regulations and standards
• Maintain electronic log books
• Ensure cargo is secured
• Plan routes to meet delivery schedules - follow maps and directions
• Keep track of mileage, fuel, and toll expenses
• Confirm inventory matches shipping documents
• Refuel vehicle, check fluids and add as needed daily
• Inspect truck daily for damage or maintenance problems (tire wear,
air leaks, engine issues, etc.)
• Report any accidents or vehicle issues to supervisors
• Maintain cleanliness of truck's interior and exterior
• Communicate responsively with staff, dispatch and customers
• Use smart phone and/or tablet to send and receive information

Pay: $55,000-$72,000
