Development Director Toledo
Girl Scouts of Western Ohio is seeking a dedicated Development Director to join our Fund Development team – a fund development professional who is passionate about ensuring all girls in western Ohio and southeastern Indiana have the opportunity to participate in Girl Scouts! The Development Director is an essential part of our fund development team and will provide strong, public-facing leadership, oversight and results for the council’s fundraising efforts. The role will develop and execute a comprehensive development program, incorporating a broad range of fundraising strategies including prospect identification, donor cultivation and stewardship, planned giving and major gifts, and foundation and corporate giving as well as serve as a people leader on the team. This role will be primarily focused on fund development within our North region – serving both Toledo and Lima within our council footprint.
Our Development Director position is a leadership role and provides direct supervision to a coordinator level position as well as oversight and management of a comprehensive development plan with specific and measurable funding goals for the assigned region. You will inherit an established donor portfolio and prospect pipeline and will work collaboratively with our internal stakeholders to continue building a comprehensive and diversified funding strategy. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work with a team, led by a visionary leader, the Chief Development & Marketing Officer, to share our story as a recognized and respected nonprofit organization that has served communities for over a century.
