This position is for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist in an outpatient setting. The therapist will provide occupational therapy services to pediatric patients, working with a variety of conditions and utilizing specialized skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting.
- Perform patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions.
- Utilize modalities such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound.
- Address orthopedic cases, including hip and knee replacements and injuries.
- Provide CVA rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury rehabilitation, and treatment for lower and upper extremity conditions.
- Work with patients with progressive neurological disorders and spinal cord injuries.
- Educate patients and families on safety, injury prevention, and treatment plans.
- Document patient care, including assessments, evaluations, and progress notes.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Perform lifting and transfers.
- Answer phone calls.
- Perform data entry into electronic medical database systems.
- Coordinate equipment/supply needs.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in adult outpatient or rehabilitation facility settings.
- BLS certification.
- State Occupational Therapy license.
- NNBCOT certification.
- Experience with adult case skills such as CVA Rehabilitation, Traumatic brain injury, Lower Extremity, Other Progressive Neurological Disorders, Spinal cord injury, Upper Extremity.
- Experience with modalities/manual skills/therapies such as Electrical Stimulation, Ultrasound.
- Experience with orthopedic case skills such as Hip Fracture and Total Hip Replacement, Knee Injuries and Total Knee Replacement.
- Experience with professional skills and knowledge such as Lifting and transfer, Patient/Family Education, Safety and injury prevention, Telephone calls.
- Experience with evaluation tools such as Cognitive Assessment, Functional Capacity Evaluation, Functional Independence Measure (FIM), Other Perceptual Assessment.
- Experience with ****ing/documentation skills such as Assessment, Discharge, Evaluation, Plan of Care, Reassessments.

- May float within scope to meet facility needs.
- Level II Trauma center.
Scheduling:
- 5x8 Days (0800-1630), open to 4x10s.
- Rotating weekend requirement every 6 weeks.
