Are you a Nurse Practitioner with a passion for geriatric patients?

We are looking for an energetic and eager Nurse Practitioner to join our nursing home located in Winston Salem, NC.

Duties Include:

• Demonstrate competency in planning and preparing for the care of the residents.
  
• Managing all primary care related consults. 
  
• Check in with patients who have acute issues and establish a follow-up plan.
  
• Prescribe and interpret labs and diagnostic tests to obtain information for underlying infections or abnormalities. 
  
• Prescribe medication and drugs.
  
• Reach an informed diagnosis based on medical knowledge and the patients' medical history.
  
• Collaborate with Medical Directors and Registered Nurses to form a high-performing medical team.
  
• Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients with patients, family members and the medical team.
  

Are you a fit?

• NP license in the state of North Carolina
  
• Long term care experience- highly preferred
  
• At least 1 year of experience working as an NP
  
• Responsibility and reliability
  

Schedule:

• Full time
  
• Monday - Friday
  
• 8 Hour shifts
  

Benefits:

• Wonderful salary ranging between $110,000-$130,000 annually
