Principal Electrical Engineer – Medical Device Development
Maple Grove, MN | Direct Hire | $150k - $180k

Are you an experienced electrical engineer passionate about creating products that improve lives? We’re looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join an innovative, collaborative team developing next-generation medical devices.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of complex electronic systems, from concept to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into reliable, safe, and effective products.
• Own schematics, system analysis, and design documentation to meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Drive problem-solving efforts, perform root-cause analysis, and support verification and validation testing.
• Act as a technical liaison with customers, ensuring projects meet expectations and timelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally in medical device development
• Altium experience
• Strong skills in analog/digital circuit design, system analysis, and debugging
• Experience with embedded systems (C/C++ a plus)
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (IEC 60601, ISO 13485, or similar)
• Excellent communicator with proven ability to lead and mentor others
