Job Title: Recruiting Coordinator

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Industry: Professional Services

Compensation: $23 – $27 / Hour

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Hybrid – typically Tues/Wed/Thurs onsite)

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Job Description:

The Recruiting Coordinator plays a key role in managing the logistics and experience of the hiring process. You’ll be responsible for coordinating interviews, supporting recruiters, and ensuring a seamless experience for candidates. This is a fast-paced role where attention to detail, professionalism, and adaptability are crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews (phone, virtual, and onsite) across various departments
  • Communicate directly with candidates regarding logistics and updates
  • Manage room bookings, prepare interview materials, and greet onsite guests
  • Assist with tracking recruiting activities and maintaining records in the applicant tracking system
  • Support background check processes and onboarding steps for new hires
  • Serve as a liaison with third-party agencies as needed
  • Build and maintain candidate interview schedules and coordinate feedback meetings
  • Participate in special projects or reporting needs for the recruiting team
  • Maintain close communication with recruiters and hiring managers to manage changes quickly
  • Provide a high-touch, professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1+ year of experience in a recruiting or HR support function
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work independently and handle last-minute changes
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (experience with Greenhouse is a major plus)
  • Professional, polished demeanor with business attire required onsite
  • Experience supporting teams in finance, legal, or other corporate environments is preferred
  • Comfortable handling confidential information and multitasking in a high-volume setting

Additional Details:

  • Duration: Contract through January 2026, with intent to convert to full-time early 2026
