Registered Dietitian Position - Part-time/Hybrid (70% Remote)

Join our dynamic team at RD Nutrition Consultants LLC, a leading Dietitian Nutritionist Consulting firm providing expert services to healthcare facilities nationwide. We are currently looking for a passionate Registered Dietitian to be a part of our growing team for a hybrid position in the area. Position Type: Community-based geriatric care

Work Schedule : 6-9 hrs per week (70% Remote); Monday-Friday during normal business hours 

Flexibility: Choose your days and hours. Only 1 onsite visits required per month, remaining hours are completed remotely via telehealth.

Compensation: $30.00-38.00 per hour depending on experience. Compensation also includes travel pay at the hourly rate for time traveled to and from the facility as well as mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans that consider participants' medical conditions, cultural preferences, and dietary needs.
• Provide education and counseling on nutrition, healthy eating habits, and managing chronic diseases through diet.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals on the interdisciplinary team to ensure participants receive coordinated care.
• Monitor participants' nutritional status and make adjustments to their plans as needed.
• Document all care provided.
• Adheres to all facility policy and procedure. 
• Performs necessary organizational and administrative duties

Requirements : 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Current state licensure/certification (if mandated by the state)
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Possesses the ability to apply critical thinking to a variety of situations, assess objectives, develop and implement and monitor effective plans for improvement.
• Proficiency in providing general nutrition interventions.
• Familiarity with state survey processes and adhering to nutrition care regulations
• Competency in electronic charting systems
