Position Title: Research & Marketing Associate
Location: New York City (Midtown Manhattan)
Employment Type: Full-time (Employment at Will)
Start Date: Mid-July
Contract Duration: 1-year renewable (long-term preferred)
KITA New York Center is the U.S. branch of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), supporting Korean businesses and startups with their entry and growth in the U.S. market. We work closely with both public and private sector partners in Korea and the U.S. to strengthen global trade and innovation networks.
Plan and execute online and offline marketing initiatives
Conduct market research and draft industry/market trend reports
Support startup and business networking events
Assist with business development and outreach activities for Korean HQ executives visiting the U.S.
Respond to 1:1 inquiries from Korean SMEs expanding to the U.S.
Organize and manage seminars, forums, and roundtables
Provide general administrative support and assistance for SME programs
Education :
(Priority 1) Business / Economics
(Priority 2) Marketing
(Priority 3) Other relevant fields
Experience :
2+ years of experience in research, marketing, or business development
Experience working with Korean companies, trade organizations, or public-sector projects preferred
Entry-level candidates with relevant majors are also encouraged to apply
Language Skills :
Professional fluency in Korean and English (bilingual required)
Strong written and verbal communication in both languages
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Familiarity with Hangul Word Processor (HWP) preferred
Annual Salary : Up to $55,000 (based on qualifications & experience)
Note: 3-month probation period with 80% of full salary
