Job Description

Salary: $120,000 - 160,000 per year Requirements:

• We require candidates to hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, along with eight (8) years of experience in information systems. Out of this experience, four (4) years must be in a supervisory role managing programming or technical support staff. Alternatively, candidates may also qualify with twelve (12) years of relevant experience, including four (4) years in a supervisory position. Proficiency in planning, implementation, and administration of at least one computer network platform used at University Health is essential. Additionally, candidates should possess experience with networking protocols, internetworking, Internet operations, LAN to WAN communications, as well as with Internet gateways and firewalls. Experience with Windows configurations on both workstations and file servers is required. Lastly, candidates must have a proven track record of leading technical teams in selecting and implementing optimal technical solutions for network hardware, software, workstation technology, and imaging products.

• In this role, I am accountable for ensuring the complete availability of our technological infrastructure at University Health, which encompasses storage arrays, networks, servers, and middleware. My primary focus is on delivering technology solutions that are in alignment with the essential business processes of our Health System. I manage complex, interdependent projects over specified timeframes to support and achieve the strategic objectives of the organization. I work collaboratively with IT partners to identify strategic technology solutions that fulfill their goals and manage the delivery of IT solutions to ensure they align with our overall business strategy. I assemble and lead cross-functional teams to execute projects, oversee all infrastructure-related initiatives and budgets, and guarantee that licensing, maintenance, and service agreements are current and accurate.

I also manage the activities of all Technical Services staff while maintaining a budget for associated cost centers, which includes compensation, supplies, software, and hardware. My role involves organizing and scheduling a diverse range of major and/or complex tasks for the Technical Services staff efficiently and timely. Furthermore, I am committed to promoting the University Health Customer Relations policy to ensure the highest quality of service.
