3dB Labs is seeking a skilled System Security Engineer to join our corporate team supporting our growing mission. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with great interpersonal skills with the technical knowledge to go with it. For the System Security Engineer role, the major list of duties include:

System Security Support

• Develop, execute and track the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems.
• Design computer security strategy and engineer comprehensive cybersecurity architecture.
• Identify, define and document system security requirements and recommend solutions to management.
• Configure, troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware.
• Install software that monitors systems and networks for security breaches and intrusions.
• Monitor systems for irregular behavior and set up preventive measures.
• Plan, develop, implement and update company’s information security strategy.

Infrastructure Support

• VMware ESXi: assist in creating, configuring, restoring, and migrating VMs
• Create and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies

Requirements

• US Citizen, ability to obtain a US Government Top Secret Clearance
• Current or past US security clearance is a major plus
• 8-15 years IT System Engineering experience in Windows and Linux environments
• Bachelors or Associates degree in IT, Computer Systems, or similar
• Expert in Linux distros: Rocky / CentOS / RHEL / Ubuntu, desired
