Schedule: Part-Time dayshift (Wed, Fri & sat)
Reports To: Shelter Manager
Compensation : $16/hr

Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable individual to join our team as a Part-Time Administrative & Front Desk Assistant . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with the public, supporting animal welfare, and contributing to the smooth day-to-day operations of our shelter.
Key Responsibilities
Public Interaction:
Greet visitors, answer incoming calls, and provide general information about shelter services and programs.
Direct guests and callers to the appropriate staff members.
Record Keeping & Data Entry
Maintain accurate electronic and paper files.
Enter data into shelter software systems.
Process adoption applications and other forms.
Administrative Support
Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
Schedule appointments and assist with general correspondence.
Process donations and issue acknowledgments.
Office Organization
Maintain a clean and well-organized front office space.
Monitor and restock office supplies.
Provide support for various administrative projects as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience in customer service or administrative roles for an Animal Shelter or Vet office required.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Comfortable using computers and office software; experience with animal shelter software is a plus.
A genuine interest in animal welfare and the mission of our organization.
Ability to work independently, multitask, and maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
