BEVERAGE CART JOB DESCRIPTION: 

As a Beverage Cart Attendant at the Boulders Resort and Spa, Scottsdale you are responsible for taking care of guests’ needs in a responsible manner while on the golf course which is to include serving beverages, food and snacks while guests enjoy their play all while promoting a positive environment to your guests and team members alike.

What will I be doing?

Although there are many functions to this position, the following are a base for what will be required of you:

• Provide exceptional guest service to both external and resort guests as well as our private membership by maintaining a high level of professionalism and courtesy.
• Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Ensure knowledge of menu and beverage cart promotions.
• Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system.
• Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
• Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations.
• Ensure beverage cart is well-stocked at all times.
• Perform opening and closing duties, as needed.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently, yet also work in a cohesive team environment.
• Perform, understand and practice proper golf etiquette.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within a high-end golf course, with preference given to those who have worked in PGA rated establishments. They should possess excellent communication skills, a refined presence, and the ability to describe dishes with confidence and elegance. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience are essential.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle
• Has previous experience as a Beverage Cart Attendant or in a similar role within a luxury restaurant
• Is well-spoken and able to communicate dish details with sophistication and confidence
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment while maintaining grace and composure
• Possesses a keen eye for detail and a passion for luxury hospitality
• Works seamlessly with both front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure flawless service
• Brings a positive attitude, professionalism, and a genuine desire to create memorable dining experiences
• Ability to work weekdays, mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required
• Enjoys working outdoors
