Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Virtual School Sign Language Interpreter to provide remote interpretation services for students in Minnesota. As a key member of the educational team, you'll help bridge communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students, their teachers, and peers in a virtual learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide accurate and clear sign language interpretation during virtual classes and school activities.
Facilitate smooth communication between students and educators, ensuring full participation in lessons.
Foster an inclusive and accessible learning environment for students with hearing impairments.
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and administration to address the specific needs of students.

Qualifications:
Certification in American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation, such as EIPA 4.0 or RID/NIC.
Previous experience working with students in a school or educational setting is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively engage in a remote work environment.
